Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl gets CatDog & April O’Neil as fighters

If you haven’t heard, there’s a new Nickelodeon game getting some attention before its release. Why? Because it’s a Smash Brothers clone that looks quite fun as more is revealed about it. The latest reveal is two new characters on the roster that ’80s and 90’s kids can get excited for! April O’Neil from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and CatDog join the brawl! The two characters join a growing roster that is shaping up to hit every decade of shows in the Nickelodeon backlog! The full roster so far is:

  • Michelangelo (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles)
  • Leonardo (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles)
  • Nigel Thornberry (The Wild Thornberrys)
  • Powdered Toast Man (Ren & Stimpy)
  • SpongeBob SquarePants (SpongeBob SquarePants)
  • Sandy Cheeks (SpongeBob SquarePants)
  • Patrick Star (SpongeBob SquarePants)
  • Oblina (Aaahh!!! Real Monsters)
  • Lucy Loud (The Loud House)
  • Lincoln Loud (The Loud House)
  • Helga (Hey Arnold!)
  • Reptar (Rugrats)
  • Zim (Invader Zim)
  • Danny Phantom (Danny Phantom)

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is coming Q4 2021 from developer Ludosity, who worked on Slap City. They already revealed that the game will have rollback netcode on supported platforms. Which platforms will have rollback they have not said yet. It will release on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Steam.
