New Joe & Mac: Caveman Ninja launches in November

Well, color me surprised! This series hasn’t made some noise in a long time. The last time we got a new installment in the Joe & Mac franchise was 1994. But the series is coming back this year now in November with New Joe & Mac: Caveman Ninja!

The new remake is coming courtesy of developer Mr. Nutz Studio and publisher Microids! Mr. Nutz Studio has proven to be a solid developer with Asterix & Obelix: Slap them All!, released last year. You can check out the release trailer below that details the physical edition that will be available.

New Joe & Mac: Caveman Ninja is a remake of the first Joe & Mac title from 1991. The game has a cult following amongst platforming fans from the 16-bit era of consoles. And for good reason! It’s one of late developer Data East’s best titles. I’m rooting, along with fans of the series, that Mr. Nutz Studio gets this right! Also, that physical edition looks lovely for my collection, along with my SNES copy of the original game!

New Joe & Mac: Caveman Ninja releases in November for PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, Nintendo Switch, and PC. We will update readers accordingly when an exact release date is confirmed by Microids. Are you excited to see the caveman brothers come back? Let us know in the comments below!
