Team Sonic Racing 30th Anniversary Edition seems to be imminent according to leak

It seems that SEGA isn’t quite done with announcements for the blue blur’s 30th anniversary if this leak turns out accurate. According to French retailers Sogamely and ReplayMultimedia, Team Sonic Racing 30th Anniversary Edition is coming on October 27th, 2021. The game will release on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch with an art book commemorating the celebration of Sonic’s birthday. You can check out the supposed box art for the Nintendo Switch version below courtesy of retailer G3 Great Games.

It makes sense to do a 30th anniversary release for Team Sonic Racing. It is the most recent release in the series, so why not give an incentive with the artbook to players who missed it in 2019 at launch. We have at least till 2022 till the next new Sonic game. Although I do find it odd the artbook wasn’t the pre-order bonus for the upcoming Sonic Colors Ultimate? But at least we are getting that baby Sonic key chain with Ultimate. I would be surprised if this is the last thing SEGA has up their sleeves for Sonic’s 30th that we don’t know about yet.

Do you think the leaks are accurate? Will you be picking up the game for the first time if they are? Let us know below!
