Plus Netflix will showcase Resident Evil, Tekken: Bloodline and The Cuphead Show!

Yesterday, Netflix revealed the lineup for Geeked Week 2022. From June 6 to June 10, Netflix will reveal sneak peeks and trailers from the streaming service’s most anticipated projects. And one of the new shows they will showcase is none other than Sonic Prime!

Netflix’s new Sonic series will feature on June 10 alongside other gaming-related projects. Throughout Geeked Week, Netflix will feature sneak peeks, trailers and cast panels. However, there’s no word on what extent of new content we’ll see for Sonic Prime.

About Sonic Prime

Sonic Prime, based on the hit game series Sonic the Hedgehog, will tell an exciting new story about the Blue Blur. The show will focus on both Sonic’s quest to save the world, as well as themes of self-discovery and redemption. Seasoned animation veterans WildBrain Studios will produce the animated series, which will feature 24 episodes. The series will premiere later this year.

In addition, SEGA announced in January it will continue its longtime partnership with JAKKS Pacific to create toys specifically for Sonic Prime. A few weeks ago, we also finally got our very first teaser trailer which revealed that Deven Mack will be the new voice of Sonic. If you haven’t seen it yet, you can also watch the short teaser below!
