Lords of the Fallen

Lords of the Fallen garnered mixed or average reviews over the years, but that doesn’t stop you from testing it out for yourself. It could be fun comparing the original product to the new and upcoming version. Judging by the key features and story beats listed on Steam, the newly announced version shares a lot of similarities, including the same amount of classes and facing the demon god Adyr.

Key features:

  • Embark on an epic quest that spans both human and demonic realms
  • Engage in devastating boss battles against the mighty Lords of the Rhogar army
  • Explore a vast dark-fantasy world, replete with hidden paths and long-lost treasures
  • Make gameplay-affecting choices throughout, but act wisely as they may seal your fate
  • Wield a vast array of legendary weapons and formidable armours
  • Choose from nine character classes, each fully customizable by earning XP to upgrade preferred skills and spells

Might be worth picking up

For fans of Soulslike games who are looking to test out other games in the genre, now might be the time to pick up Lords of the Fallen at 85% off on Steam. Despite its mixed reviews, you’ll have to judge the game for yourself to see if it’s worthwhile. It may not be Dark Souls or Elden Ring, but it could certainly tide you over until the rest of the Dark Souls servers are back online.
