Xbox Gold September Games lineup announced

The next round of Xbox Gold games are here! For those of you unfamiliar, Xbox Live Gold is an Xbox subscription service that allows for console multiplayer gaming, gets you game discounts, and gives you free games. The Xbox Gold September Games lineup looks pretty exciting this month with games like Portal 2 and Gods Will Fall.

Xbox Gold September Games

All of the September Games will be available on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. It includes both newer titles and ones from a classic lineup via Backward Compatibility. The games release throughout the month, so be sure to play these titles while you can!

Gods Will Fall (Sep 1-30)

  • Battle against the gods who rule with a cruel iron fist. Alongside your fellow Celtic warriors as humanity’s last chance, face the hellish lands of the individual gods. Your choices decide: are you a legendary warrior or destined to fall?

Double Kick Heroes (Sep 16-Oct 15)

  • Let the power of Metal compel you! With shoot ‘em up and rhythm combined, travel a post-apocalyptic freeway invested with zombies and militia.

Thrillville (Sep 1-15)

  • For those who enjoy less combat, focus on building your own amusement park instead. Design your own roller coasters and go-carts or play mini-golf on the courses you create. Check in guests as you play and make sure they’re satisfied with your park.

Portal 2 (Sep 16-30)

  • In this critically acclaimed classic game, use your portals to solve sci-fi puzzles as you bend the rules of physics. You can also use lasers, light bridges, tractor beams, and more. It features an extensive single player storyline and an option for two-person co-op.

Pick up these games while you can, because they won’t be around forever. Those of you interested in the Gold program can read more about it on Xbox’s official website. Newcomers to the Game Pass can join today for just $1 dollar, so now may be the time to try it out if you haven’t before!
