Xbox announces new games coming to Game Pass

Kick off the year with new titles on Game Pass including Mass Effect Legendary Edition and the Day One game preview of The Anacrusis!

It’s the start of 2022, and Xbox is kicking the new year off with lots of new titles coming to Game Pass. Headlining the list this month is Mass Effect Legendary Edition. This enhanced collection of the original Mass Effect trilogy includes the base content for all three games, as well as over 40 DLC content. It will be available on PC Game Pass and Ultimate with EA Play.

In addition, the Xbox Game Pass lineup adds a variety of titles to appeal to gamers with multiple playstyles. From puzzle platformers to first-person shooters, there’s a little something for everyone this month. So, without further adieu, let’s jump into the list of titles making their way to Game Pass!

  • Gorogoa (Available now on cloud, console and PC)
  • Olija (Available now on cloud, console and PC)
  • The Pedestrian (Available now on cloud, console and PC)
  • Embr (Available Jan. 6 on cloud, console and PC)
  • Mass Effect Legendary Edition (Available Jan. 6 on PC and console with Ultimate)
  • Outer Wilds (Available Jan. 6 on cloud, console and PC)
  • Spelunky 2 (Available Jan. 13 on console and PC)
  • The Anacrusis Game Preview (Available Jan. 13 on console and PC)

Goodbye, old friends

As always, the arrival of new titles for Xbox Game Pass also means the departure of others. However, you still have a little bit of time left to play. In addition, subscription holders can use their 20 percent discount to purchase the games before they’re removed. Here are all of the games leaving on Jan. 15.

  • Desperados III (cloud, console and PC)
  • Ghost of a Tale (PC)
  • Kingdom Hearts III (console)
  • Mount & Blade: Warband (cloud, console and PC)
  • Pandemic (console and PC)
  • Yiik: A Postmodern RPG (PC)

In addition, PUBG: Battlegrounds will also disappear from the Game Pass library on Jan. 10. However, it will become free-to-play beginning Jan. 12.
