Total War: WARHAMMER III release date finally announced
It will also be available on Xbox Game Pass for PC.
SEGA Europe just announced today that Total War: WARHAMMER III will release worldwide on February 17. In addition, the game will launch day one with Xbox Game Pass for PC.
People who pre-order the game or buy it during the first week of launch will receive a free early-adopter bonus. The bonus content includes the Ogre Kingdoms Race Pack. This pack introduces two Legendary Lords of the Ogre Kingdoms: Greasus Goldtooth and Skrag the Slaughterer.
Players with the Ogre Kingdoms Race Pack will be able to use these characters to lead an army of colossal warriors and primeval monsters. The Legendary Lords can bombard enemies with long-range firepower and also unleash devastating cavalry attacks. Total War: WARHAMMER III originally had an expected release window for this year. However, in September, Chief Product Officer Rob Bartholomew announced they would delay the game until early 2022. The delay allowed the developers to refine the game to make for a more successful launch. Fortunately, fans of the series now have a concrete release date to look forward to.
Bartholomew addressed the update and expressed his excitement for both the release date, as well as the partnership with Xbox Game Pass.
