Three Yakuza games are leaving Xbox Game Pass

Yakuza Kiwami

Xbox Game Pass is one of the best deals in gaming. We’ve said that plenty of times on this site as SEGA games often frequent the library. But there’s a rule with any digital subscription service. Nothing can stay forever. And some pretty big SEGA titles are about to leave the service.

When are the Yakuza games leaving Game Pass?

On December 31st, Yakuza 0Yakuza Kiwami, and Yakuza Kiwami 2 will all leave the service. As of right now, all three games are not on sale on Xbox, but Yakuza games are price slashed pretty frequently. It’s worth mentioning that any game on Game Pass is automatically discounted at 30% when Xbox announces they’re leaving the service. So right now, both Kiwami games are $15.99. But 0 players are in for luck! Yakuza 0 is part of the Xbox Countdown Sale for $5. So I highly suggest you go pick that up and not lose your progress.

It stinks that these three magnificent titles are leaving Game Pass. Given how all the Yakuza series are on the service, it might not be long before they’re back. But we don’t know for sure yet. And since the games are digital-only on Xbox, you might want to buy them now so you can continue with your crazy adventures in Kamurocho. Considering I’m still working on getting 100% completion in Yakuza 0, it looks like that’s the route I have to take.

Enjoy the time now with those three. On December 31st, it’s time to head to karaoke to sing everyone’s favorite song.
