The free titles for PlayStation Plus in July have leaked

The lineup includes Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time, The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan, and Arcadegeddon.

July is almost upon us, and for PlayStation Plus subscribers, that means a batch of new free titles is headed our way. The new restructuring of PlayStation Plus has given new benefits to higher tiers, creating the Essential subscription package for those who don’t want any extras. But they’ll still get their hands on a few new titles every month, and this upcoming selection looks to be a good one.

While Sony hasn’t officially confirmed the upcoming games yet, leaks have confirmed the three games heading to PlayStation Plus next month. The headliner game is the 2020 platformer Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, with The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan and Arcadegeddon also joining the service.

These leaks come courtesy of Billbil-kun on Dealabs, who has a good track record with leaking PlayStation Plus games already. We can expect Sony to officially confirm these games within the next few days.

Inside July’s free PlayStation Plus games

The big highlight of this bundle, of course, is Crash Bandicoot 4 — an excellent game and the first new Crash Bandicoot platformer since the N. Sane Trilogy remakes. It’s a gem of a title that shouldn’t be passed up.

The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan is the first title in Supermassive Games’ horror anthology series; the developer is also famous for Until Dawn and the recently-released The Quarry. Arcadegeddon is a co-op multiplayer shooter that focuses on high-speed arcade-like gameplay.

Assuming these leaks are true, this bundle of games should be live for subscribers of PlayStation Plus Essential and above beginning July 4. Until then, you still have time to grab June’s batch of free PS Plus games: God of War (2018), Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker, and Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl.

Which of these games are you most excited to get on PS Plus? What games do you think will appear in August? Let us know!
