Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Golden, Persona 5 Royal headed to Switch

Persona for Nintendo Switch

Bet all of you never saw this coming! Sorry. Had to get it out of the way. But after months of speculation, Atlus confirmed today that Persona 5 RoyalPersona 4 Golden, and Persona 3 Portable are all coming to the Switch! The announcement was made during a third-party-focused Nintendo Direct. You can check out the reveal tweet below with a trailer.

More Persona for everyone

The internet quickly went ablaze after the announcement. Fans have begged Atlus for years to see the JRPG series come to the portable hybrid. And once word got out, the Switch port enthusiast lit up social media with joy.

All jokes about people begging for Switch ports can be put to rest. Let’s be honest. This is a slam dunk for Atlus. All three of these titles will do incredibly well on Nintendo’s console, and Persona 5 Royal and Persona 4 Golden getting physical releases too? Don’t be surprised if those become hard to find because Switch physical collectors mean business.

Persona 5 Royal is scheduled to release first for Nintendo Switch and Xbox systems on Oct. 21. We will update readers when the dates for Persona 4 Golden and Persona 3 Portable. Are you excited to see the three classic RPGs coming to Switch? Let us know in the comments below!
