New details emerge from the Lost Judgment extended story trailer

The mystery continues to grow for Takayuki Yagami.

SEGA unveiled a new trailer for Lost Judgment yesterday on YouTube that features additional details about the story.

Extended Story Trailer

As we know, the story for Lost Judgment centers around Takayuki Yagami’s investigation of the murder of Hiro Mikoshiba. However, new details in the extended trailer reveal additional context on the discovery of Mikoshiba’s body. Though it’s uncertain who is responsible, someone planted flares inside the warehouse to signal emergency units. This adds to the conspiracy, as it further implicates that Akihiro Ehara has an accomplice.

In addition, the extended trailer shows new footage of the group of masked men who target Yagami and his allies. In one scene, they throw a rock through a window into the room Yagami and his partners are in, only to run away after. Another scene shows the menacing group encircle Yagami alone in an alley. Their purpose remains unknown, but they appear to play a significant role in the story.

The announcement trailer for Lost Judgment revealed that someone important would be kidnapped by Kazuki Soma at one point. While this person’s face was not visible at the time, the extended trailer revealed that Yagami himself ends up kidnapped by Soma. The extended trailer also reveals a new fight scene. In the extended trailer, a man attacks Yagami with a chainsaw. The chainsaw wielding foe was first seen whispering a cryptic message in Yagami’s ear in the announcement trailer.
