Additionally, this visual novel will also be the first in a series with similar storytelling techniques. Dubbed Pixel Pulps, novelist Nico Saraintaris and artist Fernando Martinez Ruppel blend unique 20th century storytelling, in addition to ’80s computer graphics to pull players into each story. Beginning with Mothmen 1966, the first volume of Pixel Pulps will also include the titles Varney Lake and Bahnsen Knights.

Mothmen 1966 will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam on July 14, 2022 for $8.99. The game will also include language support for English, Spanish, German, French and Japanese.
