Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope release date is here

When it comes to digital events, leaks are bound to happen. Usually, you get one or two before the event airs. It usually circulates around forums and Reddit from random accounts. But it’s rare a company themselves accidentally leaks a game or details about it. And somehow, Ubisoft has done that now twice with Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope.

A curious eye caught the Ubisoft website listed an October 20th release date for the upcoming title. This announcement was actually included in the third-party Nintendo Direct airing on June 28th. But either someone didn’t get the memo of the date change, or it just went up by mistake. Internet mistakes live forever, so accounts tweeted about it immediately after the goof was caught.

This poor game. If you remember, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope was leaked before its announcement last year by Nintendo. How is this the second time this has happened? Can this game bring no surprises before its release? If I was the development team, I’d be furious! Well, then again, it’s a dev team at Ubisoft. I’m sure they’re mad about a lot of things.

We will update readers on the future of changes or stories about Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope and its release this year. Are you excited to see Mario team up with the Rabbids again? Let us know in the comments below.
