All about Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy — The Definitive Edition

After man rumors and signs that it was happening, Rockstar finally officially announced the GTA Trilogy Definitive Editions just a few weeks ago. Subsequently, the company has confirmed the game’s launch date for next month.

This collection brings together three classic Grand Theft Auto games — GTA III, Vice City, and San Andreas — into a modern package. Visual improvements include upscaled graphics, high-res 4K textures, a redone lighting system, fine-tuned models, and more. As Rockstar says in its press release:

Bringing the classic worlds of Liberty City, Vice City, and San Andreas to modern platforms, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition debuts new GTA V-inspired modern controls, plus across-the-board visual enhancements such as resolution upgrades and improved visual fidelity across the world, and much more to faithfully tune and improve upon all three games, while also maintaining their distinct original aesthetic.

He also makes mediocre video game retrospectives (and other content!) on YouTube where you can watch him babble on for hours about nothing.
