Earlier this week, we announced Yakuza: Like a Dragon coming out to the west later this year, featuring an English VO cast for the first time since the original Yakuza on PlayStation 2. Following the press release from SEGA, a pair of videos were uploaded, featuring interview from some of the main voice actors, including George Takei and Kaiji Tang.
In the videos, we get some more insight into how they approached these characters, with Takei mentioning his parents and concentration camp imprisonment, following the bombing of Pearl Harbor during World War II.
Kaiji Tang is a seasoned veteran who’s lent his voice to a number of anime and games, including Berserk, Dynasty Warriors, Persona 5, Fire Emblem, and more.
