A Resident Evil Showcase is happening on October 20th

It seems that every company has figured out that the best way to get news to their audience is what Nintendo came up with in 2011. Livestreams, or “directs,” as most companies call them, let audiences see together in real-time news from their favorite series or companies and react together. Capcom has jumped on this train by doing them for the company overall and specifically for the Resident Evil franchise.

And another one is coming around the corner! Capcom confirmed on Twitter that a new showcase is planned for October 20th at 3 PM PST/6 PM EST! The showcase will focus on the upcoming Resident Evil 7 Gold Edition and Resident Evil 4 Remake. You can check out the announcement tweet below that includes a trailer.

I’m hoping we see more from the 4 remake at the showcase. All fans have seen are screenshots and a second of footage from the famous opening. If Capcom wants to get fans excited to buy in again, a sequence from the infamous town center siege at the beginning would be a fantastic thing to show.

As for Gold, we know what is coming with the new modes. But people are still in the dark about the DLC, Shadow Of Rose. The big draw to that is the mystery of it all. But it would be good to show some more gameplay of that also.

Resident Evil Village Gold Edition releases on October 28th, 2022, for PS4/PS5, Xbox Series S/X, Xbox One, and PC. Resident Evil 4 Remake comes out on March 24th, 2023, for PS4/PS5, Xbox Series S/X, and PC. Are you excited to see more footage from both upcoming action-horror adventures tomorrow? Let us know in the comments below!
