You can now play Steam PC games on an Xbox

Xbox

You’ve heard of console players jumping to PC, but what about a PC jumping to console! Sound crazy? Well, it’s possible now on the Xbox Series X! Nvidia has confirmed it will allow access to its GeForce Now streaming service to the Series X through Microsoft Edge. So, using the Microsoft Edge app on your Series X, you can now technically play PC or even Steam games on your Xbox! If you like to see footage of how it works, you can check out the tweet below from Tom Warren.

It’s wild to see that streaming PC to console is even a possibility now. Only a few years ago, the idea seemed too crazy to consider. Streaming was laggy and mostly unresponsive in most circumstances. But Microsoft and Xbox have been making great strides to come out on top in the streaming contest. The XCloud service continues to make strides forward by the month in its current beta. Now you can stream and play full-blown Xbox games on your phone with ease and little to no lag. Nvidia must be impressed with their work to allow GeForce to work in a roundabout way on the console. The future for streaming game-wise is looking very bright on the Xbox ecosystem.
