Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World gets a new trailer

Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World is still several months away, but publisher ININ Games doesn’t want your excitement for the latest entry in the series to wane, so they’ve released a new trailer highlighting Asha’s blue sidekick: Pepelogoo.

The trailer focuses on how Asha and Pepelogoo work together to overcome obstacles and other traps that stand before them on their adventure to save the world.

Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World will be released in Q2 2021 for the Sony PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch for €39.99 (and will include the original Monster World IV) via the Strictly Limited store. The digital PS4 and Switch versions will be available to purchase via STUDIOARTDINK’s online store for €34.99, along with a Steam release with the price to be announced. In addition to the retail and digital versions, a Collector’s Edition will be available for €99.99, limited to 2,500 copies for Nintendo Switch and 1,200 copies for PlayStation 4 worldwide.

The game is developed by STUDIOARTDINK and published by ININ Games, and the series’ creator Ryuichi Nishizawa is leading development, as well as several other members of his original development team returning to join the project.
