Forever Entertainment taking helm for classic arcade shooter

Forever Entertainemnt, who are remaking the Panzer Dragoon game, are once again taking a beloved SEGA property and remaking it for modern platforms. House of the Dead was one of SEGA’s premier arcade shooters in the late 90s and early 2000s. The game revolves around Thomas Rogan and “G” as they shoot their away past the undead.

The game spawned multiple sequels across different platforms and even a movie, but we don’t talk about that.

According to a Polish website, Graczpospolita, the games getting remade are the first two games in the series. It is said to have modified gameplay and updated graphics, but will preserve the original scenarios. It is said there will be a formal announcement in the coming months.

There is no word on what console it will be released on, but it is said that a release date will be before the end of 2020.
