The Shenmue 3 Gamescom trailer is here

More arcade playing and face punching!

While the months are slowly ticking by until Shenmue 3’s release, fans get incredibly excited anytime new gameplay footage is released. Gamescom presented one of those moments when Ys Net released the latest footage.

This trailer showcased some interesting arcade games, town exploration and Ryo participating in more street fighting. Much like in Shenmue 2, Ryo will see new fighting styles, like a muay Thai fighter, for instance.

Also, Shenmue creator Yu Suzuki has been meeting fans and signing autographs during Gamecom, so we’re naturally super jealous that we can’t be there to hang with our fellow fans.

Shenmue 3 is set to release on Nov. 19, 2019, on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, and will be exclusive to the Epic Games Store for one year from its release. A demo will be made available to Kickstarter backers in September that will feature a “stand-alone act” from the first portion of the game.
