SNK Playmore has announced The King of Fighters XIV launch dates for western terriories today: the title will arrive the Americas on August 23 (via Atlus USA) and Europe on August 26, 2016 on the PS4. SNK has also announced a day one steelbook edition will be available, which includes a classic costume for Kyo.
KOFXIV, the latest entry on the series is abandoning its traditional sprites animations for CGI models, depsite that the title will have a total of 50 fighters in the roster, the biggest so far in the series.

- Lots of game modes: Story Mode, Vs Mode, and Gallery Mode.
