Tekken costumes coming to Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown

It’s been months since the release of Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate ShowdownAnd SEGA is still dishing out content for the brawler! Through updates, the fighter has released new music, modes, and costumes for characters in the game. Now, a new costume update brings in another famous fighting series.

SEGA has announced a collaboration with Bandai Namco to bring costumes to Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown based on the Tekken franchise! The DLC will bring in costumes based on fighters from the franchise. The trailer showcases costumes based on Kazuya and Heihachi! You can check out the trailer below.

It’s always been a dream to see these two franchises team-up. While it stinks that it’s only costumes, it could lead to something down the line! Both franchises are working on supposedly working on new installments. Could we see Akira pop up in a potential Tekken 8? Or Kazuya or Heihachi show up in Virtua Fighter 6? This collaboration proves that idea isn’t impossible!

Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown is available now for PlayStation 4. We will update readers when a date is available for the costume DLC. Are you excited to see a crossover between the two legendary fighting franchises? Let us know below!
