Sonic the Hedgehog 2 stars reveal some of their favorite games

Sonic The Hedgehog 2 is right around the corner! The publicity tour is in full effect, including Xbox making fuzzy controllers to an official cereal coming to stores! The movie’s stars also have been doing press tours and trying their best to avoid spoiling the film. A solid way to do that, for example? Talk about their favorite games!

In an interview with GamingBible, Sonic voice actor Ben Schwartz and James Marsden went over their favorite games of all time. For instance, Schwartz admitted that Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy III (or VI, I know) are on his top games list. Furthermore, Marsden revealed that “2% of his life” went to Goldeneye on the Nintendo 64. You can check out the full interview below.

Got to say, boys. Impeccable taste! And it’s refreshing to see them not take the easy answer and just say Sonic because they are promoting it. Both do know their stuff about video games, unlike most actors. Marsden’s quip about older wooden consoles was a good bit as well. I’d be curious to see his Goldeneye skills? If he spent that much time with it, he’s got to be a master, right?

Sonic The Hedgehog 2 releases in theaters on April 8th. What do you think of the stars’ gaming taste? Let us know in the comments below!
