SEGA’s new Olympic video game has release date in Japan

Earlier in the month, SEGA announced they are, once again, producing the official video game for the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics. This is the first time since 2012 that they are producing an official Olympic video game, excluding the Mario & Sonic series.

A new trailer shows a flurry of up to 15 different games including: basketball, baseball, beach volleyball, table tennis, track & field. Another neat feature is a character customization. Meaning that you can create yourself into the game and represent your country for the Olympics.

The game will release in Japan on July 24th, for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. A western release is planned to come out in late 2019 to early 2020.
