SEGA 3D Classics Collection includes retro decal set

There seems to be a decent amount of hype for the SEGA 3D Classics Collection coming out on April 26, and considering it includes a few 3D classics haven’t been released to the US yet, there’s good reason for our fellow SEGA Nerds to be excited.

One cool thing about the Japanese 3D Archives was that it came with small posters and artwork from the games in the collection, as a little bonus for picking up the physical release.  It looks like the localization of the American collection is going to have a couple bonus things, too, in the form of some 3DS decals of classic SEGA logos.

freebonusAdvertised on the official 3D Classics Collection sitethese decals will be included with every pre-order and a limited number of launch copies. The sheet will include nine SEGA logos and console stickers, including one of SEGA’s earliest mascots, Professor Asobin, according to SEGA

From what is shown in the picture, there is a Genesis,  a SEGA Master System, logos for both of those, a SEGA logo, the classic “16-BIT” font shown on the original Model 1 Genesis/Mega Drive, a Mega Drive and Giga Drive logo,  and a decal of SEGA’s earliest mascot,  Professor Asobin. It’s pretty cool that SEGA is going as far back as Professor Asobin to show the early history of the company.

The games that will be included are:

  • Power Drift
  • Puyo Puyo 2
  • Maze Walker
  • Fantasy Zone II: The Tears of Opa-Opa
  • Fantasy Zone II W
  • Sonic The Hedgehog
  • Thunder Blade
  • Galaxy Force II
  • Altered Beast

You can pre-order SEGA 3D Classics Collection for $29.99 from Amazon.
