Holy Super Monkey Ball (s)! Look. I’m not one to speculate on rumors from sites like 4Chan. This is the rare case where it was too good to pass up. According to the 4Chan/toy/board and backed up on Resetera, a Super Monkey Ball amiibo of AiAi could be coming soon. IF it’s real, my guess would be it will coincide with the release of Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania
I want this to be real. I really, REALLY do. But I have to take a grain of salt when the source is 4Chan. Anyone on the internet has to be smart with the amount of fake news that flies on that site on a daily occurrence. That said, the mock-up is extremely well done. It looks like most that have been released in the past. Plus, it wouldn’t be the first time a third-party company has gotten an amiibo for their game on the Switch. If it is real, then I will be pre-ordering as soon as it is available on retail sites. If it’s not real, well maybe this will give SEGA and Nintendo some ideas!
