Dive back onto the Von Braun with the Enhanced Edition, available as a pre-order bonus for the System Shock remake.

With the System Shock remake on the way, many players are looking forward to experience this series for the first time. In addition to the remake, Nightdive Studios has been working on an enhanced edition of System Shock 2. The latter has been on the docket for a while now, but System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition will now be a pre-order bonus for the System Shock remake.

This new edition of System Shock 2 is an enhanced remaster of the original 1999 classic. It will include 4K resolution, updated models, improved and modernized controls, and mod support. It’s also set to include VR support and an enhanced co-op multiplayer mode. Of course, the original version of the game is also available for sale, courtesy of Nightdive Studios.

By pre-ordering the System Shock remake, set to launch in March 2023, you’ll get a free copy of System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition. Pre-orders are live now, so interested players should get this bonus while you can. (Unfortunately, this looks like a PC-exclusive deal for now.)
