Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis launches June 9

Phantasy Star Online fans have been waiting a long time for this. Well, not as long as a western release of the core game, but, you know what I mean. Phantasy Star Online 2 originally launched in Japan all the way back in 2012. In 2020, SEGA finally expanded the game to western audiences. It initially received mixed reviews due to the microtransactions, but performed well commercially.

SEGA took the next step by releasing Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis for a worldwide audience. This massive update features upgraded graphics, UI changes, and a new world to explore. One of our writers did a great job previewing this new update, and got the rest of us stoked for it.
