Persona 5 Strikers makes its way to the west February 2021

Earlier this year, ATLUS released a hack-n-slash spinoff of Persona 5 in Japan, which garnered critical and commercial success. Seen as a crossover between the Persona series and Dynasty Warriors, Persona 5 Strikers takes place six months after the events of Persona 5.

Western audiences crossed their fingers and toes for a release date, and ATLUS might have shown their cards a little too soon. A trailer of Persona 5 Strikers was uploaded this morning by the team and was quickly removed, although cybersleuths quickly snatched the video before it was too late!

ATLUS acknowledged the screw up in a tweet, poking fun at the situation:
