New 90s Arcade Racer video shows slick Wii U gameplay

There’s been a new gameplay trailer released for the upcoming 90s Arcade Racer that shows the game running in smooth 60 fps on Wii U hardware.

Developer Pelikan13 has said 90s Arcade Racer is a tribute to his favorite racing games from the 1990s, like Daytona USA, Scud Race and Indy 500. It was successfully kickstarted in February 2013, raising £16,039 of is £10,000 goal.

When released, the game will be available on Wii U, Windows, Linux, Mac, iOS and Android platforms. It was originally planned to be released in November 2013, but obviously has been delayed. It’s good to see the game is progressing and looking rather nice, though.
