It’s bone-chilling cold outside, but it is boiling at Koei Tecmo. Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty inches closer to its release of March 3 2023. As the heat ramps up, a new trailer has dropped, showing the devilish combat of the game. Players can now preorder the game with several editions. Each edition includes its own set of freebies, especially the coveted steelbook edition. Obtaining any of these editions is as tricky as the enemies players face in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.
The news comes via Clutchpoints and publisher Koei Tecmo. There will be three editions of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty: Standard, Deluxe, and Steelbook. The freebies differ depending on if the game is pre-ordered digitally or physically. Pre-ordering the Standard Edition physically gives access to the Baihu Armor, while preordering digitally gives early access to both the Baihu Armor and Ahuque Armor Sets. The physical standard edition can be preordered anywhere but that can’t be said for either the Steelbook Edition or the digital deluxe edition.
Tools for Battle
The steelbook edition of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is only available at Gamestop, Best Buy, or Amazon. This edition comes with the game, along with a steelbook adorned in the artwork for Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. This edition also includes two additional sets of DLC. In addition to the Baihu and Ahuque armor sets, the Steel Book edition comes with the Crown of Zhurong and the Crown of Gonggong. It is believed these are pieces of armor for players but it is unknown if these are cosmetic items or items for advantages for combat.
Finally, there is the Digital Deluxe Edition. This edition is the grandest of the editions. This edition includes all DLC sets previously mentioned. Additionally, a digital mini soundtrack and digital artbook are available for players who preorder this addition. If players are fine without a digital steelbook, this edition is more than satisfactory for those eager to play.
