Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes trailer details

The game was further unveiled through a newly released trailer from Gamescom. The trailer sees a distinct style, reminiscent of the JRPGs of the late 90s. It features fluid 2D animated characters maneuvering through a 3D environment. The trailer teases a deep and engrossing story, with over 100 playable characters. It also features classic turn-based battle with various characters and creatures. The end of the trailer teases what appears to be a duel battle system with rival characters. The trailer ends with a tease for Tokyo Game Show, which runs September 15-18 in Japan.

It’s a tale of war and fate. The people of the world of Allrann have forged the land through special magic, the Rune Lenses. It is a world of alliance and aggression among humans, beastmen, elves, and the desert people. Legend tells of a mystic rune artifact that the Galdean Empire looks to acquire. A young Imperial Soldier and villager cross paths in their travels. Their meeting sets off a chain of events that will shape the entire world. In a twist of fate, war erupts, and the fate of all of Allrann rests in the hands of not a chosen one, but of everyday people, who will take up the mantle and fight for what they believe in.
