Four new Genesis titles are coming to Nintendo Switch Online

It’s time for another update of games coming to Nintendo Switch Online! This time we have four new SEGA Genesis titles coming to the service. And one is a bit of a shock.

Nintendo has confirmed that Comix ZoneTarget EarthZero Wing, and Mega Man: The Willy Wars are all coming to the SEGA Genesis library on Nintendo Switch Online. The four new titles are available now for subscribers. You can check out the announcement tweet below that includes a trailer.

New SEGA Genesis games on Switch Online

This is a tremendous offering of some lesser-known Genesis titles. Comix Zone is a wild action game that’s hard to describe but unforgettable to play. Target Earth and Zero Wing are two solid action shooters I’m curious to try.

The big draw is Mega Man: The Willy Wars. A compilation of the first three Mega Man titles remade for Genesis. Along with a new mode called Willy Tower. The title was exclusive to the SEGA Channel in the ’90s and was never released otherwise. That was until 2019 when it was included on the SEGA Genesis Mini. But it’s a magnificent surprise to see it added to the service.

The SEGA Genesis library is available for all Nintendo Switch Online Expansion pack subscribers. The expansion is $49.99 for 12 months for a single member and $79.99 for a family membership. Are you excited about any of the new titles coming to the service? Let us know in the comments below!
