FFXIV Valentione’s Day event will offer two Valentine’s themed rewards

Players can receive an adorable Chocobo barding!

Square Enix recently revealed details for Final Fantasy XIV’s upcoming Valentione’s Day event.

The annual event, based on the real-life Valentine’s Day, occurs every February in Final Fantasy XIV. During Eorzea’s take on the popular holiday of love, players can complete a special quest and earn unique in-game rewards. This year’s event will run from Feb. 8 to Feb. 21.

Players can begin the Valentione’s Day quest at the amphitheater on Old Gridania. There, players will need to speak to Lisette de Valentoine to receive the quest. In addition, players can receive some items from previous events through the House Valentione Maid NPC. New players will want to level up fast, as you must be at least level 15 to participate.

Players who complete the event quest can receive two unique rewards: a Valentione’s Day-themed Chocobo barding and a mobile furnishing item. The furnishing item contains a variety of Valentoine’s motifs like hearts.

In the last year, Final Fantasy XIV became more popular than ever in the MMORPG’s 11-year span. The launch of the Endwalker expansion even proved so popular that Square Enix temporarily had to halt sales due to player congestion. Fortunately for those who don’t currently own FFXIV, sales officially resumed on January 25.

In addition, a Letter from the Producer Live will take place later this month where players can learn more about the game’s future. A Q&A segment at the event will focus on future plans for Endwalker, in addition to general plans for the game’s next decade.

You can play Final Fantasy XIV on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC. Are you excited for the Valentoine’s Day event this year? Let us know below!
