Face off against swarms of giant bugs in Exocide!

Normally, you wouldn't want bugs in your game, but this one may be the exception.

Do you hate bugs? Does the idea of giant insects roaming the Earth terrify you? If that happened, you’d probably wish you had a plethora of big guns at your disposal to take these massive freaks out. Right? Well, I have a game for you. Say hello to Exocide

Developed by Hellforge Studio and published by Apogee, Exocide takes place in a world where humans made superbugs to fight as soldiers. But those superbugs have turned on humanity. You’re the last Handler, a human+AI robotic team with 4 total arms capable of welding 4 weapons. Oh, did I mention you also get a big gun? You can check out the reveal trailer below, along with some screenshots.

I can quote Aliens right now. “Is this going to be a stand-up fight, sir, or another bug hunt?” Its clear movies like Aliens and Starship Troopers may have influenced Exocide a bit. And I’m all for it! It looks like another old-school shooter Apogee is trying to bring back as a publisher that focuses more on flair than realism. After years of Call Of Duty dominating the genre, I’ll take more of these!

You can wishlist Exocide now on Steam to get further updates on the official start of early access. We will update readers in the future on any updates to the game, release date, or potential console ports. Are you thinking about going bug hunting in this new title? Let us know in the comments below!
