Death Stranding Director’s Cut coming to PC this year

Good news PC gamers! For once, this isn’t a game getting announced exclusively for the Epic Games Store. 505 Games has confirmed that Death Stranding Director’s Cut will make its way to PC storefronts in 2022.

The news was first leaked by VideoCardz in a post detailing Intel’s new Xe Super Sampling (XeSS) graphics technology. The post mentioned the game as one of the titles that would utilize the technology. After this news got online, Kojima himself confirmed the port was real on Twitter. You can check out his tweet below.

‘Direct’ to PC

It is a no-brainer to bring Death Stranding Director’s Cut to PC on all storefronts. The original version of the game sold incredibly well on the platform. So it was only a matter of time before we saw the Director’s Cut make its way off the PlayStation 5 as well. What I’m curious about moving forward is if 505 Games will get any other PlayStation ports to publish to PC? Do they get to bring Returnal over? Or could they finally give PC gamers the holy grail in Bloodborne? I doubt it, but it is a curious question to consider?

Death Stranding Director’s Cut releases for Steam and Epic Games Store in spring of 2022. We will update this article when an official date is confirmed. Are you excited to check out the new version on PC? Let us know below!
