Yoshinori Ono to head DelightWorks after leaving Capcom

Back in August 2020, Yoshinori Ono announced his departure from Capcom. This announcement lead every member if the fighting game community in shock. Ono joined the team in 1993, and he would eventually make his way to Executive Producer for Street Fighter 5. He has had his hands a total of 33 games during his tenure with the house of Street Fighter. After 30 years he left on good terms, and in a tweet he announced a new job after 8 months.

As a result of his work with his old company, he has been named President and CEO of Delightworks. They developed Fate/Grand Order for android and IOS devices along with a fighting game, Melty Blood: Type Limina to release in 2021. This will be the first game in the franchise in over 10 years.
