World of Warcraft Burning Crusade Classic heads to PC this June

When Blizzard released World of Warcraft in 2004 they were in the business of printing money. 17 years and 9 expansions later they do not have any plans of stopping any time soon. When they released World of Warcraft Classic most people went back to the base game they played over a decade ago.

Shorty after the sign ups for the beta was announced, someone at Blizzard pushed a button a little early. A Reddit user posted a image of the The Battle.net launcher as it showed a ad of the release date of the first ever expansion The Burning Crusade. The date of June 1 have been confirmed by Blizzard themselves.

WoW: Burning Crusade Classic announced through Battle.net a little early.

The release of Burning Crusade gives players a option as they start the game. They can either stay in the “Vanilla” base game, or move their characters to play Burning Crusade content. You can access WoW Classic for no additional charge with a active WoW Subscription.

Here’s an official hype post from Blizzard themselves:

Beyond the Dark Portal in the Blasted Lands lies a realm shattered by the machinations of the Burning Legion: Outland, the once beautiful orc homeworld of Draenor. Seek out its mysteries beginning June 1 when Burning Crusade Classic™ launches around the world.
