Upcoming Genesis platformer Demons Of Asteborg nearly funded

We’re always on the lookout for a new SEGA Genesis game, and we’re incredibly excited about the upcoming platformer Demons of Asteborg, which is described to have elements of Ghouls’n Ghosts, Castlevania, Mickey Mania, Space Harrier and Panzer Dragoon.

The game, which will have a physical release on the Genesis, looks fantastic and is currently at about 80 percent in its Kickstarter goal with seven days left in its campaign.

For our non-retro gamers out there, Demons of Asteborg will also release on the Nintendo Switch and Steam.

Developer Neofid Technology has said they plan to release the game on the Genesis/Mega Drive sometime in 2020. You can visit the game’s Kickstarter page here.
