The Lord Of The Rings: Gollum has been delayed

One book franchise that has a solid reputation for great games has always been Lord Of The Rings. For example, the series has seen multiple franchises succeed with critical and commercial success. Thus, the next one trying to take a crack at Middle Earth is The Lord Of The Rings: Gollum. Unfortunately, it looks like players might be waiting a bit for this one.

Developer Daedalic Entertainment confirmed on social media today that they have decided to delay the game by a couple of months. They did not give an exact time frame of when they expect the game to be completed now. You can check out the announcement below.

Time for the friendly reminder again. Making a game is hard. It takes a lot of will and power to get it over the finish line. All done by a team working dawn to dusk for months on end. If Daedalic believes The Lord Of The Rings: Gollum needs more time in the oven, I’m inclined to believe that’s the best call. We all got backlogs of games. Don’t attack the team and let them work in peace.

The Lord Of The Rings: Gollum is now TBA for all major consoles and PC. We will update readers when a release date is given. Are you excited to see a story focused on Gollum in Middle Earth? Let us know in the comments below!
