The Blood Moon Festival event has begun in Cult Of The Lamb

Hear ye, hear ye O’ members of the lamb! If you haven’t played Cult Of The Lamb yet, now would be a solid time to fix that. The dungeon crawler cult simulator hybrid is one of the most unique games of 2022. (One we liked quite a bit)! And now, a new limited-time event begins in the game. The Blood Moon Festival!

According to the developer, Massive Monsters, players can harvest pumpkins to unlock a brand new ritual that will raise former members of their cult. Thus, bringing them back to the land of the living as wandering spirits. New follower forms and frightful decorations will be granted upon their capture. But players must be quick! The Blood Moon will wane on November 10. You can check out the reveal trailer below.

I would have been shocked if Cult Of The Lamb went through Halloween with no event. The game and its aesthetic and themes are perfect for a spooky event. Plus, seeing that it can lead to helping massively in the game by reviving dead members? That’s a plus too! Time to go save any of my members that died of accidental dysentery. I feel like I owe it to them.

Cult Of The Lamb is available now for PS4/PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, and PC. Are you excited to partake in the Blood Moon Festival with your followers? Let us know in the comments below!
