Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania confirms two new characters

The build up to the Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania is in full swing now, and with AiAi and his colourful cast of friends to play as, alongside Sonic and literal game consoles there didn’t look to be much more to add. However, it seems SEGA are turning over every banana skin to ensure each game gets its turn in the sun as Monkeys Jam and Jet join the list of playable characters.

But who are Jam and Jet? Well given their games of origin it’s unsurprising if you haven’t. Jam comes from Super Monkey Ball Step & Roll, a Wii game that most notably used the Wii Balance Board to play the game, with… let’s say mixed results and Jet made his debut in the 3DS launch title, Super Monkey Ball 3D. This will be the first time both Jam and Jet are playable in the main Monkey Ball mode, with both only being playable in each games respective mini game mode.

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania drops October 5th, so only time will tell what else will be in the game. What else would you want in the game, or have all bases been covered? Be sure to let us know.
