Streets of Rage fans are still awaiting word on when they’re going to finally get their hands on the series’ fourth entry. While we know the game is supposed to come out sometime in 2020, today we’ve learned an important new detail about Streets of Rage 4’s release.
Limited Run Games announced on social media that they will release a physical version of Streets of Rage 4.
Some people on social media are questioning why SEGA isn’t releasing a physical version, but they’re not even publishing the game. Dotemu is publishing the game, so the decision to release a retail version is up to them. In any case, we’re just glad that Limited Run has come through with this deal because it would be a shame for Streets of Rage 4 to only exist digitally.
Streets of Rage 4 is developed collaboratively by Lizardcube, Guard Crush Games and Dotemu for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC.
