Street Fighter 6 joins this week’s upcoming games

Street Fighter 6, System Shock and more!

Good morning, and happy Monday, everyone! As we begin the new week, we have a huge slate of new releases to get excited for. Whether you want to smash into Street Fighter 6 or blast through System Shock, there’s a new game for you. So, without further adieu, here are all the new games coming out this week!

System Shock (May 30)

Starting things off this week, we have System Shock. Developed and published by Night Dive Studios, this remake of the classic first-person shooter places you into the shoes of an unnamed hacker who attempts to break into the systems aboard Citadel Station. After getting caught, the hacker must unshackle the SHODAN AI’s ethical restraints and receive a neurological implant.

The action kicks off after you awake six months later to find the station in total chaos. From there, you must face off against waves of terrifying enemies as you find and destroy all the security cameras around the station. You can blast into System Shock when it hits PC tomorrow.

Company of Heroes 3 (May 30)

Marching into your home next is Company of Heroes 3. Developed by Relic Entertainment and published by SEGA, the third entry in the World War II strategy franchise aims to take the battles to the next level. Everything in this game will be bigger, including the confirmation that it will feature the largest roster of factions to date in series history.

The game’s single-player campaign promises to deliver lots of action with lots of strategical choices that make the title endlessly replayable. In addition, there will be a skirmish mode that you can play against AI or your friends with customizable battlefields at your disposal. Although Company of Heroes 3 first hit PC in February, it now launches on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S tomorrow.

Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection (June 1)

Then, Atlus brings us three HD remasters with Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection. In this title, players will have the opportunity to explore he rich beginnings of this classic JRPG franchise. In the games, you’ll take on the role of the leader of a guild of adventurers, searching for rare treasures and secrets within a vast labyrinth.

Additionally, you’ll also take on various enemies in addicting turn-based combat. You’ll also have to manage your party and select from a collection of heroes to build the ultimate team. You can journey into Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection on Thursday when it comes to Nintendo Switch and PC.

Killer Frequency (June 1)

Killer Frequency is a first-person horror game that puts you in the shoes of a late-night radio host. Developed and published by Team17, this creepy title sees your callers get stalked by a mysterious killer. Throughout the game, you’ll need to solve puzzles to save lives and run the switchboards, all to a playlist of retro ’80s songs.

You’ll have to use branching dialogue choices that could determine the fates of various small-town residents. Featuring a fully voiced cast of characters and a variety of ’80s-themed music, the game provides a genuine 1980s slasher aesthetic. You can tune into Killer Frequency when it comes to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC and Meta Quest this Thursday.

SkateBIRD (June 1)

SkateBIRD is an action-packed skateboarding adventure starring… a bird! Developed and published by Glass Bottom Games, this unique title sees you grind on bendy straws, kickflip over staplers and more. As you play, you’ll explore lots of bird-sized parks with tons of unique surfaces to skate on.

In addition, you’ll find fancy clothing, secret mixtapes and new birds who need your help. With simple controls, this fun game should feel familiar to anyone who ever played a skateboarding game before. SkateBIRD kickflips onto PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 this Thursday.

Super Mega Baseball 4 (June 2)

If you love baseball, you won’t want to miss Super Mega Baseball 4. Developed by metalhead Software and published by EA Sports, this arcade-style sports title brings a large suite of upgrades and enhancements to the franchise. With over 200 baseball legends, fans of the sport will find some of the greatest players of all time.

The game also offers a variety of modes, including Exhibition, Pennant Race, Franchise, Online Leagues and more! You can also draft your dream team using both the league of baseball legends and the new Shuffle Draft which combines real-life players with original characters from the game. Super Mega Baseball 4 is up to bat this Friday on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.

We Love Katamari Reroll + Royal Reverie (June 2)

We Love Katamari Reroll + Royal Reverie is a cute puzzle game that’s both simple and deep. Developed by MONKEYCRAFT and published by Bandai Namco, this enhanced edition of the second game in the series offers redesigned graphics and a revamped user interface. In addition, new features, such as Royal Reverie, are also now available.

Gameplay sees you roll the katamari and roll up objects to make the katamari bigger. You can roll up anything from paper clips to household snacks to turn the katamari into a star to color the night sky. We Love Katamari Reroll + Royal Reverie rolls onto PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC this Friday.

Street Fighter 6 (June 2)

Closing out this week is the return of Capcom’s premiere fighting series. Street Fighter 6 aims to evolve the fighting genre with the new World Tour and Battle Hub. Featuring three modes, players can experience a variety of ways to smash into the game.

The game also promises to immerse you in a world inspired by street culture, from the graffiti to the music. In addition, the updated graphics will let you really feel the dynamics of your body with each punch you land. Street Fighter 6 smashes onto PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S and PC this Friday.
