SOA community manager: No plans to release Phantasy Star Nova in Western market

According to Kellie Parker, SEGA of America’s senior online community manager, the company has “no plans to release Phantasy Star Nova in the Western market.”

While this could be seen as terrible news to some, especially those of us who’ve been waiting impatiently for Phantasy Star Online 2, I think we should caution giving up hope too soon. When a company states it has “no plans to release X game in Y market,” it usually means it’s just not ready to announce it yet or that the person just doesn’t have the information. Basically, it’s another way of saying “no comment” without saying “no comment.”

All we can do is simply keep talking about it and telling SEGA how much we want it to prove the desire is alive in our market.
