Once again the Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles rumor mill is running on all cylinders as this one is just gold. To get things started, recently SEGA of America CEO Ivo Gerscovich has said the company has some “exciting news” related to Sonic the Hedgehog’s 30th anniversary, which might lend some credence to the following rumor.
On the heels of Sonic Colors rumored to being remastered, popular leaker Zippo dropped a bombshell, claiming SEGA has plans to finally release Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles.
“It’s back. And I promise you that I’m not shi***** you. It was thought to be impossible, but it’s coming.” said Zippo in a blog post. “There will be some changes, though. More soon.”
One of the changes could be due to the connection that Michael Jackson worked on the soundtrack. This could be the “organizational shift” the company wanted to go through. Other than that they don’t go into detail on exactly what could change.
