SEGA of Europe to see ‘limited’ number of redundancies

As word spread this morning that SEGA is looking to downsize its workforce and move its North American headquarters, we hadn’t heard if SEGA of Europe would be affected.

However, Eurogamer has received a statement from SEGA confirming there will be “limited” redundancies at SOE.

“We are under consultation with a limited number of staff in the European publishing business and will be able to confirm decisions regarding any potential redundancies in the coming weeks,” the SEGA spokesperson told Eurogamer.

Eurogamer suggests the cuts shouldn’t hit Creative Assembly or Sports Interactive, both SEGA owned and located in the United Kingdom.
