SEGA Nerdcast: Episode 21 (with David Warhol and Jeff Cook)

We have some very special guests this week in David Warhol and Jeff Cook from Realtime Associates. These two gentlemen are responsible for a multitude of games that you enjoyed as a child, but most notably for the SEGA Saturn hit Bug!

Aside from providing some incredibly interesting insight into the development of Bug!, like a great story of what Steven Spielberg thought of the game, Warhol provides us with some shocking news that his company actually had a contract in place with SEGA of America to develop a Sonic the Hedgehog game for the launch of the SEGA Saturn. Wow, could you imagine how that could have possibly changed the fate of the Saturn at launch if it came true?!

Anyway, definitely give this podcast a listen because it’s one of our best interviews yet!
