SEGA Genesis Mini 2 launching in North America this October

If you thought the mini console craze was dying down, SEGA might have just given enticement to hold your horses. SEGA has announced the SEGA Genesis Mini 2! The mini console was announced beforehand for Japan but has been confirmed for release in North America on Oct. 27.

A couple of details regarding the system. The SEGA Genesis Mini 2 will include SEGA CD games plus other “mysterious titles we haven’t seen,” according to SEGA. Looks like SEGA knew the SEGA Genesis Mini 2 was going to have to pack a punch. That’s a phenomenal list of titles, including the CD games. I’m curious about the “mystery games” the trailer alluded to? Could it be CD games we’ve never seen before here in the States? Time will tell!
